Emma Piazza - Scout, France/Italy/Spain & Latin America, Barcelona
Emma Piazza has spent more than a decade scouting Italian, Spanish, and French literature for film and television adaptation, with occasional forays into Portuguese publishing whenever something truly irresistible lands on her desk. She also gained experience at Scenic Rights, the largest IP agency in the Spanish-speaking world, developing a strong knowledge of the media rights landscape across both Spain and Latin America.
Since joining CTL in 2019, she has worked closely with publishers, agents, and producers across both the European and Latin American markets.
She is especially drawn to stories from Latin America. In a perfect world, Emma would love to bring to screen either a glamorous French true-crime scandal involving poison, betrayal, and questionable wigs, a stylish U.S.–Mexico co-production in which Bad Bunny delivers an award-worthy performance, or an Italian cozy crime series where everyone is either solving murders, having affairs, or screaming over dinner.
